Wir öffnen unsere Augen und nehmen mit wachem Verstand den blauen Himmel wahr. Mit unseren Handflächen ertasten wir das satte Grün unter uns. Wenn wir den Kopf drehen erblicken wir eine weite üppig bewachsene Ebene. Dahinter Hügel deren Vegetation von Scharlach bis Azurblau, von hellem Grün über flammendes Gelb bis hin zu Tiefrosa reicht. Unsere Augen sind verzückt vom Spiel der Farben. Wir verspüren das Verlangen aufzustehen. Sind aber zu schwach und zu benommen. Hilflos drehen und wenden wir unseren Kopf auf der Suche nach Halt. Plötzlich durchdringen Geräusche die liebgewonnene Stille. Zunächst scheinen sie Krawallmacher in unserer Idylle zu sein. Doch es sind unsere Ohren, die die Klänge verzerren. Sie scheinen betäubt zu sein. Mit der Zeit wird aus dem dumpfen Krach, ein rhythmisches Brummen. Bald darauf hören wir immer klarer und wir beginnen die unbekannten Töne genauso zu lieben, wie das vorherige Nichts. Wo vor kurzem noch Schwäche herrschte, beflügelt uns jetzt die Musik. Wir heben sanft vom Boden ab und schweben über der Ebene… Lasst euch von den Rhythmen von Kuba and Fry durch die Landschaft tragen und genießt das Gefühl der Unbeschwertheit. Sometimes we are so close to the surface of consciousness that we are aware that we are dreaming. We open our eyes and perceive the blue sky with an alert mind. With our palms we feel the lush green beneath us. When we turn our head we see a wide lush plain. Behind us are hills whose vegetation ranges from scarlet to azure, from bright green to flaming yellow to deep pink. Our eyes are enraptured by the play of colors. We feel the desire to stand up. But we are too weak and too dazed. Helplessly, we turn and turn our heads in search of a foothold. Suddenly, noises penetrate the cherished silence. At first they seem to be rioters in our idyll. But it is our ears that distort the sounds. They seem to be anesthetized. In time, the muffled noise, becomes a rhythmic hum. Soon after, we hear more clearly and we begin to love the unfamiliar sounds as much as the previous nothingness. Where there was weakness a short time ago, the music now inspires us. We gently lift off the ground and float above the plain…. Let the rhythms of Kuba and Fry carry you through the landscape and enjoy the feeling of lightheartedness.
