Yeröm – Time EP

Yeröm is a German melodic house/techno artist based in Frankfurt, and along with his releases on Deep Stories Records, he has contributed to other respected record labels such as Dear Deer, BeatFreak Recordings, Manual Music and Harabe Black. Here at Deep Stories, we have a great respect for Yeröm, as his captivating blend of techy percussion and tension building synths creates a gripping dance floor experience. His latest release on Remotion’s record label Sync Forward, is another exhilarating offering that has us enraptured.

Out now, his ‘Time’ EP features two original tracks, and it opens with the title cut that builds suspense as it introduces layers of percussion over the throbbing bassline. The track takes flight when the lead synth lifts the energy with its tensile tones, and the gliding pads lead into the breakdown. The energy lifts when the drums drop back in alongside a stabbing melody line that cranks up the intensity. “Impact” is the second track and it’s another epic cut with expansive atmosphere and tantalising suspense. The lead arpeggio ripples with waves of modulation, while the spiralling textures and swelling pads add to the cosmic atmosphere, which is propelled by the upbeat rhythms of the percussion.
