deep story nr. 142 l relocation l by Kellerkind

7:30. Full of anticipation I stand in front of a packed moving box and wait until the movers arrive. Lost in thought I go through everything again: Have I thought of everything? Are the boxes sufficiently labelled? Will everything go well? The walls around me are painted white with woodchip and the smell of lemon. Whoever had the idea to hang a lemon on the remaining lampshade - it serves its purpose, because it eliminated the musty smell that had been in this apartment recently. On the walls once hung pictures that reminded me of my past events. Nervously I look at my watch. 07:40. Still nobody there. What do I do when nobody comes? Admittedly I already knew the answer. I would just get on the next bus. Left and right a blue IKEA bag and the rest would be fine, I said to myself. After all, the big blue IKEA bags are a real miracle weapon: Everything fits in and the handles fit well in the hand. 07:45. The doorbell rings. That must be you, I mumble and quickly open the front door. There is no one outside the door. Hectically I use the electronic door opener to open the entrance door on the ground floor, but nobody enters. I hurry to the bathroom window and look out. The yard is deserted and it starts to rain. Perplexed, I close the bathroom window and my gaze wanders through the room to the toilet lid. Just this one I had to replace not too long ago, because it was broken apart but more about that another time. 07:50 am. The rain gets heavier and tactfully crashes against the window pane. This reminds me of a well-known track, a house number from the 2000s. I quickly go through my record collection in my mind and think about which record I had heard this track before. 07:58 am. The doorbell rings. Completely torn out of my thoughts I hurry to the door. It is the movers! Surprisingly punctual. So now it starts, but the guessing after the track I know should accompany me the whole day from now on... We are very happy that today Kellerkind from faraway Switzerland - musically - pays us a visit. Only recently he released his latest album on the Berlin label "Stil vor Talent". So let's now let us take a look at his melodic and dreamy sound and let us be carried away from everyday life...

We continue to explore the premises of this odd yet positive place. We cross large halls bathing in light and pass corridors with walls, ceilings and floors made entirely out of glass. Everywhere people are busy like little ants and everything is in continuous movement. In the large halls live broadcasts of concerts and festivals from all over the world are being shown. Everywhere there are large futuristic screens on which the stars of the scene can be seen at work. In front of it, groups of 10 to 30 people sit in front of large consoles with many controls. It reminds me a little of the control centers in the space agencies. My companions lead me to one of the smaller rooms, where I receive a warm welcome. I sit down at the end of a long table and examine my counterpart, who is a handsome man with friendly features. His clothes are not a white uniform like those of the other people I met on the way. He seems to prefer more simple shades of grey, which match his hair color very well. ‘I warmly welcome you to the ComRa headquarters. I am glad that you have found their way to us and that we can welcome you to our community. As we were able to find out, you are a great friend of electronic dance music and have also enjoyed your events. I think we are therefore able to offer you something that will surely inspire all of us.’ Today we too would like to offer friends of electronic dance music something that will surely put them in joyful ecstasy. While working on his third album, Lexer somehow found the time to record a podcast for us. Enjoy an hour of feel-good atmosphere with the master of melodies.

deep story nr. 140 l illusions l by Bonjour Ben

New knowledge flows through my mind. Everything feels so true, so real. I feel detached from any fear and I am ready to enter a new world. I seem to float around the room, full of curiosity, looking forward to what will happen next. Slowly a door opens and two persons dressed in white enter the room. The calming music continues in the background and gives me a feeling of security in this strange environment. The new visitors join in with a choir of soft voices: ’Everything is completely relaxed, there is no reason to worry. We are your new friends and we want to show you a new reality’. Their voices were so gentle and mild, as if they spoke with tongues of angel. I beamed with joy at their offer and accompanied them outside. Everything seemed peaceful here and everyone was relaxed. Everyone seemed to have found their inner peace here. The facial expressions of the people here were kind. There was no hurry or impatience and yet everyone seemed to have a job here. Everything was regulated and seemed to be subject to a higher power that spread confidence and serenity. It looked almost too perfect and a slight uncertainty crept into the ideal world, urging caution against dream worlds and illusions… Enjoy a soothing hour full of positive energy with Bonjour Ben.

deep story nr. 139 l a way to go l by Alex Doering & Theo Werfel

deep story nr. 138 l brainwashing l by Pete Oak

I follow the soothing music in a state of deep relaxation. It unleashes positive thoughts and awakens unexpected creative powers. The sterile white room transforms into the most adventurous surroundings thanks to my newly acquired imagination. Sometimes I’m standing on top of a majestic mountain peak and sometimes I'm deep down in the sea. All these wonderful thoughts free my "I" and I am almost glad to be trapped in this room. This pure white is a great projection surface for my inner self and allows me to develop in an unknown, completely new way. This unique experience is accompanied by constant rhythms and gentle tone patterns, at times interspersed with entertaining intermezzos to introduce new elements. For example, a trumpet makes its way to the foreground. Voices are increasingly blending into the overall ensemble. They give the musical background new textures without being intrusive. Everything flows together and gives me a cozy warmth. A deep insight slowly dawns to me. A message that is carried through the room by the music and the singing. "Everything will be fine, there is nothing that is unsettling." My mind gets caught in this thought, which is repeated like a mantra. The hesitant insight quickly turns into a manifest certainty: "Everything is good, music is good, dancing is good and ComRa is good!" Experience an inspiring hour of unchained musical creativity together with Pete Oak.

deep story nr. 137 l open world l by David Hasert

By deep stories

in :  Podcast

For many years now I have been hiking through the wilderness as a solitary adventurer, continuously looking for my destination. With the sun as the clock for my journey into the unknown, I wandered along mountains and valleys, rivers and lakes, forests and steppes. The quietness led me to live in the present and the wisdom of nature moved me to stay. Out there I could experience what true beauty means, but also how brutal life can be. My surroundings taught me to stay alert, which opened my eyes. Now I perceive things which are beyond normal. Individual inconspicuous noises can now give me more security than an hour-long conversation with friends. My mind is in harmony with flora and fauna. A blind intuitive understanding developed, guided by gestures instead of words. So I was able to learn a lot about myself and my environment and get on with myself. Feelings of happiness now flow more regularly through my nerves and soften my petrified expression every now and then. But at times the feeling of loneliness creeps back into my heart. Especially on days like this ... I raise my hip flask and drink for another year as a "lone ranger". Enjoy this birthday drink with David Hasert and listen comfortably to his anniversary podcast. We wish him all the best and good luck for the next year.

deep story nr. 136 l slow down l by Stelzenläufer

By deep stories

I slowly woke up with aching eyes, a booming head and dry throat. The nasty trip still affected my body. The person who had put this handkerchief under my nose had apparently misjudged the dose of the substance significantly. The anesthetic was certainly much stronger than the perpetrator had planned. Minutes passed and nothing changed. I still couldn't move any part of my body while my eyelids were still heavy and all my limbs feeling numb. So I lay there in this white sterile room for an agonizing eternity. At some point I noticed that my other senses were also dimmed and only gradually resumed their work. I heard some faint music that flowed softly to me from all corners of the area. It suited my physical condition perfectly. Since I could not find any change in my vital functions after another perceived eternity, I started to focus on the melodies. They calmed my raging mind, which of course wanted to find out what was going on here. Slowly I let go all the negative thoughts about my alleged kidnapping and let myself be guided into an ever deeper meditative state. I concentrated fully on my breathing and the music. So I tried to make the best of my current situation. Slow down in the company of the ‘stilt walker’ (Stelzenläufer), who pulled his favorite downtempo tracks out of the record box for you. With his soothing beats, he has already chilled the crowds on the Fusion Festival and continues to set the course with his ‘sloth disco’ Faultierdisko crew towards quieter waters…

deep story nr. 135 l subconscious l by Doncler

Continuation deep story no. 133 A veil of mist settles over my perception. The white of the wintry landscape takes on the colors of the rainbow and I feel the world stop spinning. Time stretches and my overwhelmed mind seems to open up. One minute seems to stretch into hours. Experienced time and passing time no longer exist in lockstep. Their congruence, given by natural law, seems to dissolve. The mind is accelerated as well as slowed down at the same time. In the process, the sense of time is anesthetized to such an extent that viewing the extremely stretched event resembles the performance of a magician. It plunges thinking and perception into inner contradictions. The senses make an effort to perceive everything particularly precisely, to recognize where the dizziness lies. The brain turns in circles and searches for an explanatory model for what has happened. In the retrospect of these minutes, the event connects at some point with one's own state of mind at that moment. With the environment, the mood, the flickering light. What remains is a Polaroid of the emotional world, which determines the memory. Nothing I can say with certainty in retrospect. Only feelings can be recalled. How long I was out can no longer be reconstructed in my mind. It could have been minutes or days. It seemed like a year to me. Bright light burns in my eyes and my limbs cannot be moved. Let Doncler take you on a trip into the subconscious. A place where time is relative.

My thoughts were spinning around. Where did I get the new capsule from? What happened after I left the club? I couldn't have been to a ComRa event. That wouldn’t make sense. I decide to ask ComRa myself. Maybe they could tell me when and where I got the capsule. At the local ComRa headquarters, I only found closed doors. Nobody reacted to my ringing and knocking. This was strange as otherwise these people were always so communicative. As if they suspected that I wanted to ask some awkward questions. After my unsuccessful efforts to get someone to the door, I continue walking through the winter streets. A few blocks away, I accidentally discover a ComRa Events promoter. At first he was pleased to see. The Raverend is visiting the city again, he reported. Then I changed the subject and spoke to him about my capsule. I confronted him with the problems of the uncontrollable heat development of the capsules. He answered me that these were just some very unfortunate isolated cases. Nothing to worry about. Next I wanted to know from him how it could be that a few hours after I had removed the capsule, I accidentally found such a dangerous thing on my wrist. The promoter looked nervous and dodged my question. He mumbled excitedly into his headset. Afterwards he said that he couldn't explain it either and that my story sounded very unbelievable. Suddenly he was in a hurry and hastily said goodbye. This conversation didn't make me any wiser either. Rather, it raised more questions. But before I could even think about it, I was in a dim state. Someone held a moist handkerchief under my nose and my mind strayed into a colorful dream world. The surroundings became blurred while dreamlike melodies caressed my ear canal. With his magically light set, Med Aziz will mirror the dream world in which our protagonist finds himself unexpectedly and will let you become part of this cosmic journey into the unknown. Look forward to an hour of pure emotions and reverie.
