Podcast deep story nr. 158 | be the rave | by Shahin By deep stories Posted on Mai 2, 2021 Share on Facebook Share on Google+ Share on Linkedin Während ich warte fällt mir auf, dass sich ansonsten niemand vor dem Raum oder im Flur befindet. Links und rechts von mir ist es menschenleer. Diese Einsamkeit bedrückt mich. Doch bevor ich mir weitere Gedanken machen kann, ertönt eine Stimme. Genau wie bei der Musik, kann ich nicht lokalisieren woher sie kommt. Aber irgendwie kommt mir der Klang der Stimme bekannt vor. Mir wird mitgeteilt, dass ich den Raum jetzt betreten kann: „Bitte folgen Sie der roten Linie bis zu ihrem zugewiesenen Platz.“ Direkt im Anschluss erscheint auf dem Boden eine leuchtende Linie, die mich an die hintere linke Ecke des Raumes führt. Auf dem Weg dorthin kann ich nur wenig von den anderen Mitmenschen im Raum erkennen. Jeder scheint in einer einzelnen kleinen Kabine zu stehen, welche so angeordnet sind, dass jeder einen freien Blick nach vorn hat. Kurz bevor ich meine Kabine betrete, sehe ich mich nochmal um und kann keine Tür mehr entdecken. Sie scheint wie vom Erdboden verschluckt zu sein. Stattdessen ist dort nur noch eine glatte Fläche. Als ich mich umdrehe, ist auf der Leinwand vor mir schon der Schriftzug ComRa zu sehen. Kurz darauf verschwindet der Schriftzug und das Licht geht aus. Für einen kurzen Augenblick herrscht völlige Finsternis. Plötzlich erkenne ich etwas Grünes im Augenwinkel. Etwas fliegt über unsere Köpfe durch den Raum. Es vermischt sich bald mit anderen Farben und es herrscht ein buntes Gewimmel im ganzen Raum. Bei genauer Betrachtung kann man einzelne Buchstaben ausmachen. Sie verlieren beim Wirbeln an Geschwindigkeit und bewegen sich kurz darauf auf die Leinwand zu. Dort nehmen sie wie von Geisterhand geleitet ihre Position ein und ergeben die Wörter „be the rave“. Als das Licht wieder angeht, steht Lighter plötzlich vor uns. „Yo ich hoffe euch hat unsere kleine Demonstration unserer futuristischen Lichttechnik gefallen.“ Ich wusste doch, ich kannte die Stimme irgendwoher! Unser heutiger Gast dürfte euch auch bekannt sein. Nachdem er mehrere „free downloads“ bei uns rausgebracht hat, ist er auch verantwortlich für das zweite Release auf deep stories records. Wir freuen uns, dass er jetzt auch ein Mixtape für unsere Podcastreihe erstellt hat. Perfekt um die ersten Sonnenstrahlen des Jahres im freien zu genießen. Also schnappt euch eure Bluetooth Box und bevölkert die Parks 🙂 While I waited, I noticed that there was no one else in the room or in the hallway. The place was completely deserted to my left and right. This loneliness depressed me. But before I could think about anything else, I heard a voice. Just like was the case with the music, I couldn’t pinpoint where it was coming from. But somehow the voice sounded familiar to me. At that moment I got the request to enter the room : “Please follow the red line to your designated place.” Immediately afterwards, a glowing line appeared on the floor, which led me to the left corner at the back of the room. On the way, I could barely see a thing of the other people in the room. Everyone seemed to be standing in separate small cabins, which had been arranged so that everyone had an unobstructed view of the front. Just before I entered my cabin, I looked around again and could no longer see the door. It seemed to have been swallowed by the building. Instead, there was just a smooth surface. When I turned around, I saw that the word ‘ComRa’ had been displayed on the screen in front of me. Shortly afterwards these letters disappeared and the lights went out. For a brief moment there was complete darkness. Suddenly I saw something green in the corner of my eye. Something was flying overhead in space. It mixed with other colors and soon there was a colorful swarm all over room. On closer inspection, I could make out individual letters. They slowed down while spinning around and shortly afterwards they moved towards the canvas. There they took their position as if guided by a magic hand and finally they coagulated into the words “be the rave”. When the lights came back, I noticed that my friend ‘Lighter’ was standing in front of us. “Yo I hope you enjoyed our little demonstration of our futuristic lighting technology.” Now I understood why I recognized the voice from somewhere! Our guest’s name may ring a bell to most of you. After he released several “free downloads” for us, he is also the curator of the second release on Deep Stories Records. We are overjoyed that he has now also created a mixtape for our podcast series. Perfect for enjoying the first rays of sunshine of the year outdoors.
