We are One – Interpretation by Djjuliimmaï

In seinem Podcast für Planet Ibiza hat Djjuliimmaï ein wahres Kreativfeuerwerk abgebrannt. Schon das Intro ist ungewöhnlich und deutet an, dass eine wilde Reise durch die Welt der elektronischen Musik bevorsteht. Da wir die Überraschung nicht vorwegnehmen wollen, gehen wir nicht weiter aufs Intro ein und widmen uns gleich dem ersten Drittel des Sets und hier wird gleich ordentlich Energie Aufgebaut. Obwohl es ein eher langsames Set ist geht es in den ersten Tracks druckvoll zu und die Basslines rütteln ordentlich wach. Der Übergang in die nächste Phase des Sets gelingt durch den Einsatz klassischer Vocals. Die allseits bekannten Lyrics aus C’hantal`s „the – Realm“ holen den Zuhörer ab und nehmen ihn mit in melodischen Parts des Sets, in dem auch Vocals immer wieder eine Rolle spielen. Im letzten Drittel lässt es Djjuliimmaï ruhig ausklingen und setzt auf Klänge aus dem Bereich „organic house“. Insgesamt herrscht viel Abwechslung und während der 2 Stunden wird man immer wieder durch kleine Überraschungen hervorragend bei Laune gehalten.

Although it is a rather slow set, the first tracks are punchy and the basslines shake you awake. The transition to the next phase of the set succeeds through the use of classic vocals. The well-known lyrics from C’hantal`s “the – Realm” pick up the listener and take him into melodic parts of the set, in which vocals play a role again and again. In the last third Djjuliimmaï lets it end quietly and relies on sounds from the area of “organic house”. Overall, there is a lot of variety and during the 2 hours you are always kept happy by small surprises.
