deep story nr. 122 l shattering dreams l by Maurice Mino Continuation of deep story no. 121 Quickly rinsing the last sip down the throat. Grabbed the headphones and another beer for the road. Check the pockets, pull the door and go. In the stairwell only not stumble, would be a pity around the good hop drop. Off we go into the liberating darkness. No more thoughts of yesterday or tomorrow. A life in the here and now, a life for the sound and the smoke. The streets and clubs my real home and music my lifeline. So headphones on and serotonin levels up. On the way to excess I drop them so that the entry into the parallel world works smoothly. In the streetcar again a look at the flyer for tonight. Wonderful Maurice Mino from Berlin is also visiting. Kicks and grooves in beguiling alternation, his last sets from the Watergate and the Hammahalle were very sweaty affairs. You should urgently treat yourself to the latest podcast. It's slowly going black in front of my eyes and the music is flowing through my head. I no longer notice what is happening around me. Minutes pass in seconds and my mind is on another level of consciousness. Until a small vibration causes my new cosmos to collapse, like the city at the end of Inception. Another finger tap on my shoulder finally snaps me out of my dream world. In front of me stands one of those annoying ComRa promoters. Read More
deep story nr. 121 l we missed you l by Marius Drescher Continuation of deep story no. 116 Back to reality after yesterday's smooth party. It was good to go back to the roots and visit the old hood. After the crowds in the cathedral, the living room atmosphere gave a nice feeling of freedom. I'll definitely be going downtown more often in the near future. Maybe I should also check out the small, elaborate raves in the park again. Well then Handy provide me with music, so I can hop out of bed exhilarated. Quickly check if someone has written. New message from ComRa Events "We missed you"! Dear raver, with regret we had to realize that you decided to go to another event yesterday. We always try our best to please you as a consumer with more and more unusual, bigger and more spectacular events. Please give us a short feedback why you didn't choose our event yesterday. If you are going to celebrate, don't waste your time with non-premium products. Your ComRa Events agents How did they get my number and how do they know I was partying yesterday? They have their people everywhere by now. What a rotten scam to poach people like that. That is decidedly too far. As cool as the parties may be, there are limits and they are clearly crossed. This only strengthens me in my decision to visit the old living rooms of bygone days again. There where the music is still made with hand and heart. Let's see who will be visiting the "Hufeneisen" next week. Marius Drescher will be there! Wonderful his last releases were simply ingenious. Well then, let's throw his latest set on our ears to increase the floor joy. Read More
deep story nr. 120 l the escape l by Mark Tarmonea The escape is part of the breathtaking narrative by our guest author Simon Ruckers, who describes his vision of the future from several perspectives through different narrative threads. We are excited to see how he will bring the individual threads together into one big picture. Musically, this pursuit through the streets is accompanied by producer and vocal talent Mark Tarmonea. He manages in his unique way to reflect the different emotional states of the protagonist in this deep story. Run. The scream echoes between the prefabricated buildings from the previous century. Run... Damn it! Run, run, run... But I run immediately at the first shout. I skid around a corner of the building, throwing the two packets of Neuroloox behind a pile of a few stinking bags of garbage. Shit...there are two more cops up ahead. I see Kasim and Hilde running some distance away. Again Eris calls from the rooftops: Run! Samuel... The echo of his voice vibrates along the rough concrete. Damn, I'm running already. At lightning speed, as fast as I can. I'm running like the devil is chasing me. If they catch me, it's my turn. Lately, no mercy has been shown. A rock hits the asphalt behind me. That should make the cops hesitate. Eris we have several piles of stones on the roof at our disposal. We placed them in the most sensible places. A gunshot rips the spring air. Shit, I didn't expect that. The cops seem really pissed off. Again Eris throws a rock from the skyscraper roof. It achieves the intended effect. The cops take cover. This is my chance. My pulse hammers through my hot body. I hear shouting... Freeze! Now! Another shot. The bullet slams into the wall of the house somewhere to my right. Panic climbs up in my chest. I feel it coming clear as day. I know her. I know them so well. They are really aiming at me. My legs are getting weak. Another stone falls from the sky... I have to reach the door. I reach it, jump ten steps at a time into the depth, pull a second door shut behind me. It falls thunderously into the lock. That will stop it for a few seconds. A thousand times we have planned our escape routes. I know every inch. And this is my only chance. Read More
deep story nr. 119 l expo electro l by Uner ‘Since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the city has held a distinct place in electro culture. For the techno scene, post-wall East Berlin was an instant oasis of new places to hold parties and set up clubs. In the 1990s, the techno and trance genres and the Love Parade played a major cultural and political role for the youth of reunified Germany. In the 2000s Berlin became the symbolic modern capital of techno thanks to legendary nightclubs and an international community of musicians, Djs and artist making up almost one tenth of its population.’ This is how the German capital is being described in the interesting exhibition "Expo Electro de Kraftwerk à Daft Punk" at the Paris Philharmonic. In addition to the prominent role of Berlin, many other aspects of this now mature musical culture are presented audio-visually. If you happen to be in the City of Love, do not miss this successful potpourri of beats and basses. In addition to some classic synthesizer history, there is also an original flight case by Jeff Mills, a 3D concert by Kraftwerk or a stage replica of a Daft Punk video to see. For many, however, the highlight will be the spectacular light show of a classic Techno Mix by Laurent Garnier. We will soon be uploading some pictures of the exhibition on our website. The electronic music is now also present in places of more classical culture, showing the growing importance of the former warehouse music. It has become an international phenomenon which captivates people all over the world. Therefore, we are happy to present someone who has accompanied the genre for some time now and helped shape it with his releases. Meanwhile he plays in the biggest clubs in the world and is completely immersed in this culture. Welcome to deep stories ... Uner! Read More
deep story nr. 118 l the search l by Cpt. Barnabass He turns around one last time and takes a quick look at his breathtaking blue home planet before diving into the endless black. His wealth of experience will bring him safely through this adventure and he will certainly see this unique world again soon. But for now, the only thing that counts is what lies ahead of him. All alone, he sets off into space in search of the solution to the world formula, after years of making no progress in the confines of his office with the help of his mind and a white board. At least his brilliant mind enabled him to hijack a space shuttle. An event which will probably occupy criminologists for decades and makes him the first space pirate in history. Whether in this case the end justifies the means? After all it concerns here the most important scientific break-through since the relativity theory! So now he finds himself out in the universe on a journey to galaxies far, far away. But where should he start looking. Perhaps a visit to a black hole would yield groundbreaking insights. Or perhaps he should seek out Earth-like planets to make contact with other life forms. This could perhaps pass on valuable knowledge. He decided that the search for highly developed life had priority. Just which planet should he head for to find intelligence? He had once heard of a distant solar system that was home to a planet named 0034 Technology P01. On this techno planet his search should begin... But now to our today's guest, who is a firm component of the scene at the latest since his appearance on the last fusion and makes the clubs of the capital unsafe. The space wanderer likes to tell stories about his journeys to far away planets and creates his very own "spacetech" sound on his hypnotizing sessions. So enter the spaceship together with Cpt. Barnabass, which will navigate you through wild landscapes to the planet you are looking for. Read More
deep Story nr. 117 l the conference l by Daniel Rateuke Without detours, today we go directly to the next part of the future dystopia by Simon Rucker. Guest musician today is the producer and Dj Daniel Rateuke, who has also processed some of his own treasures in this podcast. The dark armored car drives up to the forecourt of the headquarters in Berlin with squealing tires. It looks like something out of a damn spy movie. Excitedly, the windshield wipers rush back and forth. Back and forth. Tirelessly. Hopelessly. Two men in suits jump out of each of the two accompanying vehicles. One opens the door of the armored car. Prym gets out and hurries along the guards to the entrance of the bare concrete block. Rain pelts the asphalt. On the briefcase he holds over his head. A storm rattles the linden trees along the street. Seriously, the doors close behind those who enter. A few minutes later, Prym sits at a long table with the national ministers, the leadership of UNIp and two representatives of The Golden League. He takes his name badge between his fingers, turns it around so that he can read his name. Jacek Prym is written on it. And in the line below, in smaller print: EU Presidency. He runs his fingernail into the groove of the writing. It feels rough. His shoulders shake. He looks out through the glazed front into Berlin's weather. The raindrops beat against the windows, running in wide rivulets down the smooth surface. In here, none of it can be heard. Hours of negotiations later, the national ministers leave the conference hall. Prym is no longer under any illusions. It is clear to him what will happen now. It has long since been decided... deep story nr. 116 l the suspicion l by The Crack Kids Der Tag zog sich elendig hin und die Beine sind immer noch schlapp von der Tanzeinlage. Read More
deep story nr. 115 l spring walk l by Prismode Sun kissed awake by the first touch of the distant life-giver, Mother Nature rises from her hibernation. Carefully she shakes off the lethargy of the last months and begins to unfold. At the same time the first bars of the new deep story develop. First cautiously groping and then confidently driving before they unfold in full glory. The musical selection, just like the increasingly green surroundings, lures people out of their dwellings and sets them in motion. They stroll through the parks in droves and leave the sofa they have grown fond of behind them. The sun's rays and electronic sounds increase the pulse rate and the serotonin level. Contentment spreads and is carried by melodic synthetism. Accompanied by occasional vocals, a coherent overall picture emerges. We thank Prismode for this wonderful spring walk, which accompanied us through the gray walls into the colorful world of nature. Read More
deep story nr. 114 l november 2039 l by Super Flu The guys from Super Flu are paying us a courtesy call today and pack all their seven beats to accompany the audience into the future fiction vision of Simon Rucker of unterwegs-reiseblog.de. While menacingly dark clouds gather on the horizon and electrify people. Tension fills the air and uncertainty spreads. This tension puts people under strain and yet they still carry hope in their hearts. This ambivalence of the emotional world is being picked up brilliantly by Super Flu and shows their world class in the translation of the story into the universal language of music. They make full use of the repertoire of their many years as producers and DJs and convincingly prove us that music can move mountains… November 2039 We play in the fields behind the village. Our home is in the last block of houses. The paved road ends there and continues as a dirt track towards the edge of the forest. I do not know any details from here, but if I want, I can manage to run home in less than two minutes. Near the edge of the forest stands our little hut. We built it with old roof woodwork of my father. Kasim is standing next to me. The sky is getting dark. As I close the door behind me, I realize on the spot that tonight is not a normal night. No smell of food. No voices of the parents from the kitchen. The hallway is dark and somewhat eerie. I hear the muffled sounds of the screen in the living room. When I enter, my mother jumps up. Samuel, she says ... and grabs me by the arm… Read More
Deep Story nr. 113 l magic forest l by Tim Tation I open my eyes and perceive the blue sky with a foggy mind. With my palm I feel the lush green below me. As I turn my head, with my vision still slightly blurry, I catch sight of wriggling figures. They move rhythmically back and forth. Comforting warmth flows through my body as a bright white cloud makes way for the sun. Slowly I sit up and my synapses are further flooded with impressions. Blurry black and gray becomes peacock feather colorful. Laughter and wild dancing define the scenery, which is framed by electronic compositions. Everyone seems so free and carefree. There is a weightlessness of being like children's birthday parties from earlier times. The surroundings are decorated with attention to detail and the participants of this imaginative congress seem never to have encountered everyday life. Full of joy, I rise and enter the fray. I float through this balmy summer day and let myself drift through undreamed-of spheres. The moments seem endless and pure inspiration is injected into my mind. I dance, laugh, chat, play, discover and seem to have found the Garden of Eden. A rave in the green like a revelation. When will spring finally come again and the time of shared rapture. As a meticulous organizer of ever-growing exotic open-air raves in the Franconian countryside, Tim Tation is exactly the right expert to bring this feeling into our living rooms at home and thus shorten the waiting time for the outdoor season. Years of passionate music research enrich his repertoire with rarities. He is fascinated by the analogy to traditional shamanic music: driving and trippy sounds that build on each other. He transports this and the magic of oriental rhythms into his sets, which, with the help of Laissez-Faire e.V., founded in 2015, are also repeatedly heard in the open air. The friendly crew has transformed a piece of land near Nuremberg into a magical forest of possibilities that you should have seen. Read More
