Sol Selectas – Global Entry 5

Sol Selectas are back with the 5th edition of its annual Global Entry compilation, which is a collection of feel-good organic house tracks that help fans of the record label get through the cold and gloomy winter months. Like all of Sol Selectas compilation releases, each of the tracks have been selected and curated by Sabo who runs the record label. Each edition of Global Entry seems to improve upon the last, and this one is quite possibly the best to date. All of the tracks have the deep atmosphere and melodic flow that is standard to the Sol Selectas sound, but all of the rhythms and tempos are at the more energetic side of the label’s range. There is flowing tribal percussion within Afro house tracks such as Atlantis, Anza and LITCHI’s collaboration “Di Bunja,” and the invigorating synths of melodic tracks like Memo Rex and Joe Pea’s “Frida.” In total the release includes ten tracks and original music contributions from Safar (FR), German Brigante, A X L, G.O.D.A., Memo Rex, Joe Pea, Djolée, Ayala (IT), RUSKAR, Atlantis, Anza, LITCHI, Gionist and Sapoz.

Lots of the tracks on this 10-track compilation are collaborations, and there is also a new remix by KÖNI who opens the release with a reworked version of Sabo and Matanza’s classic “Marimbora.”

It’s another spellbinding release that further cements Sol Selectas as one of the most dynamic record labels within the organic house scene.
